I could say this is just another novel by Penelope Ward, but even this book will drag you till the end, in the heart of the two (or better three) characters. Beautiful scenes and genuine, never superficial dialogues. Plot written in an original way, in the authentic style of the american famous writer. A tender and delicate love story but at the same time full of passion and hot moments. Ward's narrative style is, as always, brilliant, funny and full of emotions. This, and much more, is what you will find in this novel you have in your hands.

Eden and Ryder get to know each other online. How? I won’t tell you, because every moment of this story deserves to be read, discovered and savored. Love in the times of the internet is a quite abused subject, yet Ward handles it with extreme dexterity, without ever falling into stereotypes.

As for the characters, Eden had not convinced me at the beginning. I could not stand her, and I could not find in her the touch of humanity to make her alive in my imagination. Yet in the course of history, she slowly becomes more and more crystalline, and I ended up loving her. The same applies to Ryder, who looks like the classic beautiful and rich guy, yet of classic he only has only the kind ways, which will make breach into the Eden’s heart. Two beautiful characters, who will have a lot to do in the course of history. Will they be able to find each other? A little help comes from someone close... Who? Find it out by yourself!

Potrei dire solo un altro romanzo della Ward, eppure anche questo romanzo vi trascinerà fino in fondo, nel cuore dei due (o meglio tre) protagonisti. Bellissime scene e dialoghi genuini e mai superficiali. Trama scritta in modo originale, nello stile autentico della scrittrice americana. Una storia d’amore tenera e delicata ma allo stesso tempo ricca di passione e momenti hot. Lo stile narrativo della Ward è, come sempre, brillante, divertente e pieno di emozioni. Questo e molto altro, troverete nel romanzo che avete tra le mani. Eden e Ryder si conoscono online. Come? Non ve lo dirò, perché ogni attimo di questa storia merita di essere letto, scoperto e assaporato. L’amore ai tempi di internet è un tema ormai parecchio abusato, eppure la Ward lo maneggia con estrema destrezza, senza mai cadere negli stereotipi.

Quanto ai personaggi, Eden non mi aveva convinta all’inizio. Non riuscivo a digerirla, e non trovavo in lei il tocco di umanità per renderla viva nella mia fantasia. Eppure, nel corso della storia, pian piano diventa sempre più cristallina, e ho finito per amarla. Lo stesso vale anche per Ryder, che sembra il classico bello e ricco, eppure di classico ha solo i modi gentili, che faranno breccia nel cuore di Eden. Due bei personaggi, che avranno un bel da fare nel corso della storia. Riusciranno a trovarsi? Un aiutino viene dalla mano di qualcuno… Chi? Scopritelo da soli!
